# Checkboxes

Let the person pick one or more options.

Checkboxes show every option with a box. The person can pick several. The response stores a list of option labels.

Edit the option labels on the card. Add more with Add option.

Use checkboxes when more than one option can be true, such as:

- Features the person wants.
- Days they can meet.
- Any list where none, one, or several answers are valid.

> Required means the list cannot be empty. It does not mean every box must be checked. Use Multiple choice for a single pick.

How to add one:

1. Open the form editor and click + Insert block, or type /checkbox.
2. Pick Checkboxes from the Questions group.
3. Edit the question label and each option.
4. To convert later, use Block type on the card. The option list stays when you switch between choice blocks.
5. Mark Required if at least one option must be selected.
