# Embed forms

Paste a web component snippet. The form runs in a shadow root.

The Share tab gives a <request-forms-embed> snippet for published forms. The embed reads font, text color, background, and primary color from the host page. It does not copy the host stylesheet. Layout, spacing, focus, and errors stay Request Forms. Set data-inherit="off" to keep the saved form theme instead. The old iframe page cannot inherit; use the web component snippet.
