# Text

Add a paragraph of copy between questions.

A text block is a paragraph. Respondents do not answer it. Use it for instructions or context.

Use text when you need words on the form, such as:

- A short instruction above a file upload.
- A privacy note.

> This is one line in the editor. It is not a heading. Use Heading 1 for a title.

How to add one:

1. Open the form editor and click + Insert block, or type /text.
2. Pick Text from the Layout group.
3. Replace the default sentence with your copy.
